All drivers must be 16 with parental consent.

  1. Competing Models
    1. Any passenger type car.
    2. Minimum wheelbase is 99 inches.
    3. Chassis type: Masters built, Rocket, Rayburn, etc.
    4. No water-based fuels/ No dry sump engines.
    5. All chassis engine set back is 6 inches measured from the #1 spark plug to the center of the lower ball joint.
    6. Chassis, performance equipment or any part of the racecar in question must be approved by the tech official.  Tech official’s decision is final.

  3.  A. Chevy, stock street production blocks 350 cu inch+. 060 overbore.

1.    Heads, Chevy Bowtie/Street Vortex/World Products Sportsman II/NO Chevy Vortex Bowtie race heads.  Any stock street production heads ok.

2.    Port matching allowed on heads ½ inch in depth.

3.    Crankshafts, 48 lbs. Or heavier and have a 3.48 inch stroke.

4.    Flat top pistons only.

5.    Cam Shaft, solid lifter/no roller cams/no roller lifters/no rollerized cam.

6.    No roller fuel pump shaft.

7.    Weight with Chevy engine 2400 lbs after race with driver nothing added.

8.    Rockers, roller type ok 1.6 max. No shaft type on Chevy.

9.    Valve size, 1.6-exhaust/2.02 intake.

10.  Three angle valve job ok.

11.  No aluminum heads.

12.  Steels rods only.

13.  Intake, 2102 Edelbrock performer.

 

    1. Chrysler, Stock street production block, 360 cu inch+. 060 overbore.

1.      Heads, Mopar R/T head/ any street stock production head ok.

2.      Port matching ok, ½ depth.

3.      Cranks, must weigh 48 lbs. Or more and have a 3.58 inch stroke.

4.      Flat top pistons only.

5.      Cam, solid lifter/No roller or rollerized cams or lifters.

6.      Weight is 2400 lbs. At the end of the race with driver nothing added. (Subject to change)

7.      Rockers, Roller type ok.  No shaft type rockers on R/T heads.  1.6 ratio.

8.      Valve size, 1.6 exhaust, 2.02 intake.

9.      Three angle valve job ok.

10.  No aluminum heads.

11.  Steel rods only.

12.  Intake 2176 Edlebrock performer.

13.  55cc minimum for Chrysler heads.

 

    1. Ford, Stock street production block.  No SVO’s, 351 cu inch + .060 overbore.

1.    Heads, Windsor JR heads/any stock street production heads ok.

2.    No aluminum heads.

3.    Port matching allowed on heads ½ inch depth.

4.    Cranks must weigh 48 lbs or more and have a 3.50-inch stroke.

5.    Flat top pistons.

6.    Cam, solid lifter/No roller or rollerized cams/No roller lifters.

7.    Weight is 2400 lbs at the end of the race with the driver, nothing added. (Subject to change)

8.    Roller type rockers ok.

9.    Three angle valve job ok.

10.  Steel rods only.

11.  Intake 2181 Edelbrock performer.

  1. Carburetor
    1. 500 CFM Holley only/must pass bore gauge check.
    2. Base plate must be stock 500 (1 11/16 inch thick)
    3. May use oil cooler.

 

  1. Oiling System
    1. Wet sump only.
    2. May use oil cooler.
  2. Exhaust
    1. Any header ok.
  3. Electrical
    1. No magnetos.
    2. No type traction devices.
  4. Clutch and Flywheel
    1. Any to fit Bert or Brinn ok.
    2. Automatic must use safety blanket.
  5. Drive shaft
    1. Painted white or silver.
    2. Have safety bar for driveshaft.
  6. Rear end
    1. Any rear end or gear permitted.
    2. No sprint car type rear end.
  7. Safety
    1. No aluminum frames or cages.
    2. Must have working fire extinguisher.
    3. Must have aluminum approved racing seat and 5 point harness.
    4. No passenger or side windows.
    5. All weight must be bolted on cars with locking type nuts.  Must be painted white with car number on it.
    6. Minimum of bolts for ballast to be ½ inch thick in diameter with lock nut.
  8. Suspension
    1. Any type ok.
    2. Width of front end is 70 inches hub to hub.

 

  1. Roll cage
    1. Steel type round tubing 1 ½ inch.  Three door bars on left and at least two on the right side.
    2. Roll bar padding to be used anywhere a driver may contact and receive injury.
  1. Wheels
    1. 14-inch aluminum wheels ok.
    2. Track tire rule #45 Hoosier only.
  1. No Nitrous 
  2. Numbers
    1. Only 0-99 will be scored.
    2. 18 inches tall on both sides of the car and the roof must be able to read from the passenger side of the car.
    3. All numbers must be readable from the score tower.
  1. Helmets
    1. Must be worn along with drivers suit when entering the racetrack.
  2. Shocks
    1. Any shock permitted.
  3. Fuel Cell
    1. All cars must have approved fuel cell.
  1. Bodies
    1. All cars must have a complete body to start the race.
    2. Must have stock appearing rubber type nose.
    3. All bodies must be approved by the tech official.

 

  1. Bumpers
    1. Steel bumper shall not be made to project outward in an unsafe manner.
  2. Glass
    1. No glass on racecar except for mirror.
  3. Window net
    1. Must have a window net to race.
  4. Purpose of rules

   A.  These rules are general and just because it is not mentioned, it may not be permitted to use some performance equipment or performance related modification to the equipment.  The tech official is the final decision in this matter.  Unauthorized cars, parts and equipment will not be considered approved by reason of having passed through tech inspection by an over site.

  1.   SPORTSMAN 2007 (PRO-DIV)

    1. Driver must be at least 16 years old and have parents consent
    2. CAR TYPE
    A. Must be an American made with wheel base of no less than 105 inches. No station wagons.
    B. Weight shall be 3200 lbs. With driver at the end of the race..
    C. GM 350 cubic inch plus .060 overbore. Ford 351 cubic inch plus .060 overbore. Chry. 360 cubic inch plus .060 overbore.
    D. Factory production automotive type cast iron 2 barrel intake with no modifications to enhance performance.
    E. 500 CFM 2 barrel Holly carburetor only. Must have 500 CFM base. Must pass bore gauge. 1” spacers to mount carburetor and 2 gaskets. (065 thick)
    F. Street production heads only, no porting or port matching. Ports must have casting marks. Angle plug heads on Fords and Chryslers only.
    G. May use after market oil pans.
    H. May use roller rockers and stud girdle (ratio 1.5 for Chevy and 1.6 for Ford). (Factory production heads)
    I. No roller cams or roller fuel pump rods.
    J. Stock production flywheels and clutch setup. May run aftermarket starter. Bell housing must have 5 inch inspection hole or inspection plate. Automatic transmission must have stock working torque converter.
    K. No triple disk clutches and couplers.
    L. May use headers. No 180 degree or Zoomies.
    M. May use duel point distributor or electronic but no MSD Box.
    3. FRAME
    A. Lower A frames must remain stock. May use aftermarket upper A frames.
    B. Shocks must be mounted as close to original as possible. Racing shocks okay.
    C. Jacking bolts may be used for front end only, if car has rear jacking bolts, they must welded in place (nonadjustable). May shim springs or use shackles.
    D. All holes in firewall shall be covered in case of fire or hot water. Tech official will have complete discretion.
    E. May use aftermarket panhard bar.
    F. May use stock type chassis. May reinforce for safety. No offset allowed. May use 2x3 square or round tubing for the rear clip starting from the center of the frame rail over the rearend to the rear of the car. Tubing must follow the original frame shape but may go straight back for tire clearance.
    G. You may use duel master cylinders, proportion valves but must use stock brake calipers.
    H. May use ford 9 inch under GM, Chrysler or Ford. Lower arms will be in stock location. No spring loaded or adjustable upper or lower arms. May run 3-link setup. Springs may be located 14 inches from center of housing.
    I. Width of front end will be 68 inches max., measured from center of tires.
    J. Fire wall may be altered from stock, however it must remain in stock location.
    K. Tube frame, from front to rear, add 150 lbs.
    L. Tube frame with rack and pinion, add 200 lbs.
    M. Leaf spring rear-3 link rear-coil spring rear permitted with 5 inch conventional coil springs only. My use center link rod (spring or biscuit type). Leafs may use shock or rod type .
    4. BODIES
    A. Any American made passenger car body (no compacts).
    B. Bodies may be aftermarket if stock appearing. No flat sided bodies. Aluminum or steel except for hood, it may be fiberglass with a 4 inch scoop. Tech official will have complete control of this matter.
    C. May use rubber front and rear bumper covers.
    D. Right floor may be raised for headers not to exceed tunnel height.
    5. SAFETY
    A. Must use roll cage around drivers compartment. Cage must be 1 ¾ inch black iron or steel tubing pipe.
    B. There must be at least 2 door bars in the drivers and passengers side of the car.
    C. Roll bars may extend from the firewall forward and it is recommended to have roll bar extending the full length of the car.
    D. Must have at least 3 bars in the driver area of the windshield.
    E. All ballast must be painted white with your car number on it.
    F. All doors, hood and deck lids must be fastened shut.
    G. Seat belts are mandatory, must have shoulder harness and window net.
    H. Safety hubs may be used on the front.
    I. Must have working fire extinguishers and drivers suit.
    J. Must have fuel cell and it must be in a metal case.
    K. Must have blow proof bell housing or blanket for automatics.
    6. TIRES AND RIMS
    A. Tires will be track tire with stamp.
    B. May use 10 inch rims. Offset rims will be the same on both sides of the car.
    C. Must have the same width rim on all four corners.
    D. No glass on the car except front and rear windshields and a mirror.
    7. PROTEST RULE
    A. Protest for violation of rules must be made by the driver only.
    B. Time limit is 15 minutes after the checkered flag. $300.00 cash only. Engine protest only.
    C. Driver can protest the car that finishes in front of him or her only.
    D. Track retains the right to protest a car that it deems to be illegal at any time.
    E. Any car found to be illegal twice will loose all points.
    F. You may protest a driver that finishes in front of you for P & G. Fee is $50.00.
    G. Protest must be written and given to tech official after the race.
    H. May protest transmission. Must have reverse and pass brake test for automatics.
    8. GENERAL
    A. Any item not covered in this set of rules does not mean it is legal to use.

2007 SUPER FOUR DIVISION (MINI-STOCK)                                                                                                 1. TYPE VEHICLE
A. Any four cylinder vehicle as supplied by American or foreign manufacturer sold in the USA. No station wagons or vans. Max wheelbase is 101 inches, in case of question of any type automobile, the track has final decision.
B. All glass except windshield must be removed. All interior carpet, headliners and extra seats must be removed.
C. Grills must be removed and replaced with screen or sheet metal.
D. All shocks and springs must be mounted in original position. Shocks may be aftermarket but must remain mounted as original. May use spring shackles if they do not exceed 5 inches measured from center of hole to center of hole and be adjustable. Both sides do not have to bolt even. May use aftermarket springs and must be mounted in the original location. Spring buckets may be sized to fit the springs. May make necessary alterations to suspensions to obtain 1 inch positive or negative chamber. (Will be checked by framing square) Additional sway bars and pan hard bars may be added to the suspension. Lowering blocks may be used. Jacking bolts in the rear only are optional. Any change in frame or suspension other than the above will be subject to A weight penalty for each change.
E. Manufactured bumpers mandatory. May place bar behind the bumper. No fabricated bumpers allowed.
F. Brake proportion valves may be used.
G. Rims may not exceed 10 inches in width. Any offset is okay, but ALL rims on the car must have the same offset. Tires not to exceed 10.5 inches across the face after the race. Spacers may be used for tire clearance, but must use the same thickness on both sides of the same axel. Must rum track tire.
H. Tires must not exceed more than 6 inches outside the body. Fenders may be flared to cover tires.
I. Sheet metal may be removed inside of the car for placement of roll bars. Must maintain suitable sheet metal for driver protection. Driver to be enclosed with sheet metal optional.
J. All cars must be painted with numbers on both sides of door and roof. Numbers must be at least 16 inches high. Roof numbers must be read from outside the track.
K. No wings of any type. May use 6 inch high and 60 inch wide spoiler only. Spoiler will be measured from the trunk to the tip of spoiler. No plexiglass in passenger window. Any spoiler over 3 inches must be clear Lexan. No Lexan in passenger side window.
L. Bodies, metal stock production or fiberglass aftermarket (must be stock appearing) No modifications, offset or flat side bodies.
M. No external bar or rub rails (nurf bars) of any kind.
2. MOTOR/TRANSMISSION/REARENDS
A. Max. of 4 cylinders in line, 16 valves, not to exceed 2500cc and must be stock for model being used. (Ford 2300 + .060, 2500 std.) (TOYOTA 2400 + .060) May use duel over head cam.
B. Headers allowed.
C. Stock production intakes only, no porting, matching or polishing. Up to 1 inch spacer plate may be used to mount carburetor. (Does not include gasket) Gaskets must be no more than .65 inch thick.
D. May lock distributor advance.
E. 500 Holley cfm carb (must have 500 cfm base) or smaller. May remove choke and or air horn. Must pass bore gauge.
F. Cams may be solid or hydraulic. No roller cams.
G. Stock production heads only. Heads must have casting marks. Three angle valve jobs. May resurface. No porting or polishing of head. No port matching or cutting under valves. No cutting for over sized valves or springs. No porting intake manifold. Stock size valves for engine being used.
H. Stock type piston (may fly cut valve relief). Stock production rods, cranks and blocks. Blocks may be bored and decked. Bore and stroke must remain stock for engine being used. No stroking or de-stroking of the engine.
I. Three, four or five speed manual transmission or automatic (must use torque converter).
J. Flywheel steel only 11 lbs. Min. with stock type clutch.
K. No alcohol in fuel or NOS.
L. Oil cooler optional with remote filter.
M. May make only necessary modifications to accept Holley 2 barrel carb.
N. Exhaust may exit either side of the car.
3. SAFETY
A. DOT helmets and a fire suit are required.
B. Roll cage min. 1.5 inch tubing. Three door bars with gussets in driver and passenger doors. Loop bar behind driver. One horizontal bar across dash from side to side. Bars must be welded from main loop bar to go through to trunk and around fuel cell for protection. Front bar may be used around engine compartment to protect engine and radiator. At least three bars in the drivers area of the windshield.
C. Fire extinguisher with gauge in reach of driver and mounted for easy removal.
D. Fuel cell required and installed in metal box. A firewall must be between driver and the fuel cell.
E. Protective screen or windshield. Three metal bars are mandatory.
F. Racing seat belts required. Lap belt must be 3 inches and shoulder harness must be 2 inches. Belts must be securely fastened to the main roll cage.
G. Mirrors must be mounted inside of the cart.
H. Must have drive shaft loop.
I. All ballast must be painted white with the car number on it.
4. PROTEST RULE
A. A driver must file protest for engine violations only. Time limit is 15 minutes after the checkered flag. Protests shall be accompanied by a $200.00 fee and item being protested. If engine is found legal a fee of $150.00 goes to the driver being protested and $50.00 goes to the points fund.
B. Driver may protest only the car that finishes in front of him or her.
C. Track retains the right to protest any vehicle deemed to be illegal. If the same driver is found to be illegal twice in the same season, said driver will loose all points received up to that time.
D. P & G protest will be $50.00.
5. GENERAL
A. Any item not covered in this set of rules does not mean it is legal to use.
6. CHASSIS
A. Minimum weight will be 2150 after the race with the driver in a stock uni body car. No fuel may be added.
B. Straight framed chassis made of tubing front to rear- 2300 lbs after the race with the driver. No fuel added.
C. Offset framed chassis 52% left side weight rule applies. Must weigh 2450 lbs after the race with the driver, no fuel added.
Guests may race if approved by class. If car does not meet Dixieland rules, no points and half of the winnings will be awarded.

  2007 SUPER STREET DIVISION (BOMBER DIV) 

1. Driver must be at least 14 years of age and have parents consent.
2. CAR TYPE
A. Must be American made with a wheel base of no less than 107 inches. No station wagons.
B. Weight will be 3000lbs. At the end of the race with the driver, no fuel added.
C. Roof, rear quarters and rear deck must be stock appearing sheet metal. May fabricate front fenders and doors (must be stock appearing).
D. Must use front and rear bumper covers.
3. ENGINES
A. Engine will retain stock recondition or new stock type replacement components.
B. Stock ignition systems.
C. Stock rods and cranks only.
D. Must run a 500 cfm Holley 2 barrel carb. Only.
E. Holley’s must have a 500 cfm base.
F. May use roller rockers 1.5 for Chevy and 1.6 for ford. No roller cams permitted.
G. May use stud girdle, screw in studs and guide plates.
H. Stock production flywheel and clutch assembly. No triple disk or couplers. Stock starters and must have a scatter shield. Must have a 5 inch inspection hole to check flywheel and clutch. May use hydraulic clutch.
I. Automatic transmissions must have a working torque converter.
J. Any flat top or dish replacement pistons.
K. Street stock production heads only, angle plug heads on Ford and Chry. Only. Heads must have casting marks in ports.
L. No porting, polishing or port matching.
M. May use claimer type oil pan.
N. No gear drivers. No roller fuel pump rods and no NOS. Headers allowed , No 90%/180 degree or Zoomies.
O. Stock type brake master cylinder. No duel master cylinders. No brake proportion valves. No rear disk brakes.
P. GM 350 Ford 351 Chry. 360 cubic inch max. plus .060 over bore.
Q. Factory automotive production cast iron 2 barrel intake only.
4. FRAMES
A. Upper and lower A frames must remain stock.
B. Rear end must be same as manufacturer, GM under GM etc.
C. Rear suspension must be stock.
D. Shocks must be mounted as close to original as possible.
E. Jacking bolts are permitted.
F. May lock rear gear.
G. May cover firewall and floor pans. All holes in firewall must be covered in case of fire or hot water.
H. Tracking width must be stock for make and model of car.
5. SAFETY
A. Must use roll cage around drivers compartment. Cage must be 1 ¾ inch black iron or steel tubing pipe (.090) min. There must be at least 2 door bars in drivers and passenger side doors. Roll bars may extend from the firewall forward and roll bars are recommended from the rear firewall to the rear of the car. All bumpers must be stock appearing or may use bumper covers. All doors, hood and deck lid must be fastened shut. All cars will have tow chains welded to front and rear. Must have at least 3 bars in driver area of the windshield.
B. Seat belts and shoulder harnesses are mandatory. Fire suit is mandatory.
C. Fuel cells are mandatory and they will be in a metal can. Must also be protected by roll bar.
D. Only one mirror allowed. No glass except for the front and rear windshields.
E. Safety hubs may be used on the front.
F. All ballast must be painted white and have the car number on it.
6. TIRES AND RIMS
A. Tires will be Hoosier track tires only. Rims shall not exceed 8 ½ inches in width.
B. Same rim width on all four corners. Same offset on both sides. No other tires permitted.
7. The purpose of this class is to offer anyone that wishes an affordable means of racing.
8. PROTEST
A. Protest for violation must be filed by the driver only within 15 minutes of the checkered flag.
B. $200.00 cash only and this will be engine protest only. If the engine is found legal the fee of $150.00 goes to the driver of the protested car and $50.00 goes to the points fund.
C. Drivers may protest the car that finishes in front of him or her.
D. The track retains the right to protest any car it deems illegal. Any car found to be illegal twice in a season will loose all points received up to that point.
E. Any car found illegal or refusing to be inspected will loose all monies and points for that event.
F. May protest P&G for the driver that finishes in front of you for &50.00.
G. Protest must be in writing at the end of the event and given to the tech official.

FUNSTER CLASS

 
       
 

2007 FUNSTER CLASS  (ROOKIES DIV)                                                                                                                                    1. Driver must be at least 14 years of age and have parental consent.
2. CAR TYPE
A. May be any American or foreign made 4 cylinder front wheel drive only.
B. Must be compact or intermediate type car.
C. Must have dash and stock interior except where roll bars are placed.
D. Must use 4 point roll cage with 2 bars for drivers side and 2 bars for passenger side.
E. No modifications for chassis or front end.
F. All springs and shocks must be stock type in original position.
G. All glass to be removed except windshield.
3. This is an entry level class only and track may disqualify any driver suspected of previous racing experience in stock cars.
4. All cars must be production stock for type of car being used.
5. No roll bars may be placed in front of firewall.
